No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13).
I’ll keep saying this in some of the posts until you get it because it will be crucial to break free from this habit.
The very aggressive thoughts bombarding, agitating, and hijacking your mind and brain making it difficult for you to focus on the things that matter the most in life will fade away.
The emotional and mental frenzy pinning you in an unending type of situation where you are wondering whether what you are going through in terms of how you are being steamrolled by this vice will ever go away will cease.
Let that sink deep into your mind.
Meaning that the feeling being felt to indulge in immediately will end at some point. You don’t have to give in now to force that to happen when you want it in order to make the discomfort, uneasiness, and unpleasantness that you are experiencing go away.
By relying upon the Spirit of God, you will reach a state of normalcy in the area of your thinking and feeling. When you get to that point, it will be as if the urge was non-existent.
The key message of this exhortation is to focus on the glory of God being the anthesis of sin until He carries you through. That’s when true joy, peace, comfort, security, assurance, confidence, and so on will come upon you.
